Jane Phillips

Originally from England, Jane completed high school and university in Ottawa, Ontario, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Film Studies and Law from Carleton University in 1997. After working as a legal research analyst for Accenture for 5 years, she moved to Alberta in 2003 and worked as a legal assistant for several prominent Calgary law firms including Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP and Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Over the years, particularly during university, Jane has also held many positions in the retail and hospitality sectors, which gave her valuable experience in working with the public. She has also been an active participant in the community theatre and independent film scenes in both Ottawa and Calgary, as well as appearing as an extra on "Hell on Wheels" and "Fargo: The Series".

Jane also shares a love of horses with Joshua and Dani Thomas and places the blame for all that has transpired since 2006 on her Arabian/Saddlebred mare, Madonna's Stardust. Jane purchased Stardust (her first horse) in June of 2006. The horse needed some work and so Jane decided to keep her boarded at the barn she was already boarded at - L & M Stables near Kathyrn, Alberta. It was there that she met Josh and Dani, which ultimately led to the decision to get into the real estate profession and move out of Calgary to Rural Rocky View.
